Advancing Paediatric Orthopaedic Care
EPOS was established in 1981 in Paris by a pioneering group of five paediatric orthopaedic surgeons. The inaugural EPOS meeting, also held in Paris, brought together just 13 surgeons. Today, the society has grown into a thriving global community of over 700 surgeons, dedicated to enhancing the quality of care for children worldwide.
Our mission
Our mission is to enhance the quality of care for children with orthopaedic conditions. We achieve this by fostering communication among professionals involved in paediatric care, improving education for those dedicated to children's well-being, and promoting the sharing and dissemination of medical knowledge and advancements.
Our vision
A world where every child receives the highest standard of orthopaedic care, supported by continuous advancements in clinical practice, research, and education.
